Wilder has responded by initiating the dispute resolution provision within the fight contract.
This has forced both parties to enter mediation overseen by a retired judge.
Should a resolution not be found in mediation, the next step is binding arbitration in which the mediator will make a ruling and settle the dispute once and for all.
At present this situation is still ongoing.
Now, Steward has spoken out. The Kronk Gym trainer joined Barbershop Conversations for a four-hour live show during which he was interrogated by Wilder supporters on the various conspiracies and allegations.
He happily welcomed fans calling into the show to have their say and sat coolly as some ranted while others made their case in a more calm manner.
At one point he replied: “There’s not a possibility that I did anything wrong, there’s not a possibility that Tyson Fury did anything wrong.
“Everything that was done was legal and was observed by the Nevada Commission and representative Jay Deas from Deontay Wilder’s camp. There’s no possibility that something was done wrong.”
