Britain’s Callum Smith faces the toughest test of his unbeaten career so far as he goes up against living legend Saul ‘Canelo’ Alvarez this weekend.

Smith, who is 27 and 0, beat John Ryder last year to retain his WBA (Super) and The Ring super-middleweight titles.

He will now put them on the line this weekend as he faces off against Canelo.

The remarkable Mexican won his 56th fight when he saw off Sergey Kovalev in his last bout to become a four-weight world champion.

He’ll be looking to add Smith’s title – plus the vacant WBC super middleweight crown – to his collection on Saturday night.

It should be a thrilling fight and the UK will be behind Smith as he look to pull off a huge win and topple the great Canelo.

Canelo v Smith: Date and time

This 12-round super-middleweight bout will take place on Saturday, December 19 and is being held at the Alamodome in San Antonio, Texas.

The ring walks are expected from 5am UK time on Sunday but that will depend on the undercard results.

Canelo v Smith: TV channel and live stream

The fight will be shown on DAZN with coverage starting at 1am on Sunday morning.

DAZN can be viewed on smart TVs, game consoles, connected devices, mobile, tablets and computers.

The streaming service costs £1.99 per month to sign up and can be cancelled at any time.

The fight will be able to be streamed via the the DAZN app.
